Mission
The IYF society was established in 2008 with the vision of developing and empowering students with a healthy and positive mindset. Founded by leaders across the realms of business, academia, government, faith and other profession, the IYF believes that many of the core problems that hinder youth today stem from the heart and can be tackled from the heart. With the motto of change, challenge and cohesion, the IYF connects young people, opens their heart and instil life-long changes. Our programs consist of mindset lectures, overseas volunteering, world camps, academies in art, culture, music and dance and many more. Our membership is free and because we believe in the spirit of selflessness, sacrifice and service to the most precious heart of the university – the Sydney uni students, that is you. Join us and experience a lifelong change for the better.

Join us and access over 150 countries for our overseas volunteering program. Learn culture (e.g. Kpop anyone?). Learn growth mindset. Learn listening. Learn leadership.

Mindset Education and Mind Recreation programs are run weekly. Our annual world camp and summer camps are our flagship events you cannot miss!

Mission
The Sydney University Nursing Society (SUNS) is the representative body for nursing students at the University of Sydney at both Camperdown and Westmead campuses. SUNS aims to promote the study of nursing, while fostering a sense of community amongst students, staff, and alumni. It is our main priority to organise events and activities that provide the opportunity for students to interact and engage with fellow peers, students from other faculties, and nursing students from different universities.

This ranges from social events, merchandise, educational events and resources, networking opportunities, fundraising, volunteering and more. At SUNS, we’re here to support nursing students, whether it’s by having fun, meeting new people and taking a break from studies, or by offering exciting opportunities and experiences that compliment your university study experience.

Having a RUFF day? Are LAB reports getting you down? Do you need to recharge with some floofy cuddles? Then come join the USYD Dog Society to meet some new furry friends and hoomans! Whether you have a furry companion or not, everyone and every dog is encouraged to join our society events, ranging from on-campus BBQs and doggy meetups to coastal walk and dog yoga. Our society aims to connect students through their shared love for dogs of all shapes and sizes, enriching every student’s social life through our fortnightly activities. Established only last year, our club has members coming from all walks of life, from international and post-graduate students to even students from other universities. With such a diverse and multicultural community, we can guarantee there is something for everyone. So, don’t wait! Fetch your best friends and come along to meet cute and floofy doggos and make some unforgettable memories with some paw-some friends!

Our society’s off-campus dog meet-up at Victoria park remains as one of the most popular events and is a must-attend for any dogsoc member.

Our society holds fortnightly events, with and without dogs to ensure members are always offered with opportunities to interact with dogs and friends alike.
